Set a timer for 8 minutes. You can write in the first person, as if you are this character. Or you can write from any other point of view. Imagine they have just gotten out of bed on a summer morning. What are they seeing? Smelling? Hearing? What are they feeling? Everything is allowed in your writing. You can tell us their name, or tell us nothing about their name. Write whatever pops into your head. It can be the middle of story you’ve already started, or the beginning of a new story, or a character sketch to use in the future IF you want to do that.
