Any book, any page

This one isn’t guaranteed to be easy, because I’m asking you to absolutely adhere to the instructions. Pick up any book. Go to any page. Put your finger on any line. Find the nearest sentence or fragment of a sentence. That’s your prompt. Write for 7 minutes.

I just picked up a copy of The Attachment Theory Workbook by Annie Chen. On page 93 I found this partial sentence: “You also need to know how to recognize behaviors that are easily mistaken for secure but are concealing insecurity.” I’m going to try this myself. Look for the write in the Words tab at the beginning of August 2026!
