The Color “B”

Writer down 5 random adjectives. Don’t think about it. Just do it, quickly.

Then, set a timer for one minute. Write down as many colors/hues as you can that begin with the letter B. Some of these “colors” may not quite make any sense, but they could nonetheless be the name of a color on a paint sample strip.

Next, look at your list and choose one of those color words. Put one of the 5 random adjectives in front of it. Now, write as fast as you can for 5 minutes about that two-word name.

For example, I just did the same exercise with the letter “C” and I came up with Saucy Chlorine and Wicked Chrysanthemum.
