Daylight savings

Tomorrow we switch to daylight savings time. There will be that raw rub of your established rhythm against a new beat. What a great time to write a haiku! Try this formula:
Answer these prompts quickly and without dwelling on it.
Write a word(s) about the season
Write a word(s) about what you see out your window
Write a word(s) about what’s different at this hour today vs. this hour yesterday
Write a word(s) about an action you could take in the landscape outside your window
Use these words (you don’t have to use them all, and others can arise) to fashion a haiku with 5 syllables as the first line, 7 syllables as the second line and 5 syllables as the third line.
As an example, here’s my result from the answers 2) march 3) dirt, leaves 4) daffodils emerging 5) raking dead leaves :
wintry chill in march —
pushing last fall’s leaves aside
for a pale green shoot
I’m not saying it’s a masterpiece, but it gives you a general idea of what to do.
